istimi makes calming or energising music for how you feel right now. Pick OVERSTIMULATED or UNDERSTIMULATED, press play, and touch nothing else if you would rather not.
The sound keeps playing when I lock my phone
That is on purpose. Use the speaker button at the top of the app to mute everything at once, or pause from the lock screen.
I want it quiet when I open it
In You, under When you open istimi, choose When I tap. The app then stays silent until you touch it. This takes effect from the next time you open it.
It says it made a song here instead
When the music service cannot be reached or says no, istimi makes a song on your phone so you are never left without music. The message says why.
Moving to a new phone
In You, open Your things and choose Keep a copy. On the new phone, choose Bring a copy back and pick that file. On the web, Your things is in More.
Deleting everything
Your things can also delete everything in one step: your mixes, your kept songs and your check-ins. It cannot be undone, so keep a copy first if you might want them back.
Privacy
Nothing about you leaves your phone. Read the privacy page for exactly what is sent when you ask for a song.
